It has been quite a goal drought for Jozy Altidore but he has finally gotten back on the goal trial with two goals against Nigeria in a World Cup warm-up match.
The first goal was a simple finish but was also the kind of chance he had been missing for Sunderland and the striker showed good goalscoring instincts to be in the right place at the right time:

Hopefully Altidore can take the form shown in this match into the World Cup and come back for pre-season full of confidence and a much improved player.
