Shaun Botterill

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet named an unchanged team for the fifth consecutive game as his side chased a fourth successive win knowing anything but a defeat would ensure Premier League survival.

It does mean, however, that Ki Sung-Yueng has officially kicked his last ball for the club, but he probably had anyway with his injury situation. French youngster El-Hadji Ba again found himself on the bench.

Sunderland: Mannone; Vergini, O'Shea, Brown, Alonso; Larsson, Cattermole, Colback; Johnson, Wickham, Borini

Subs: Bardsley, Altidore, Ba, Giaccherini, Bridcutt, Scocco, Ustari

West Bromwich Albio, who are already basically safe, named an adventurous attacking line up with Stephane Sessegnon, Victor Anichebe and Saido Berahino all starting.

WBA: Foster, Reid, McAuley, Lugano, Brunt, Yacob, Morrison, Dorrans, Sessegnon, Anichebe, Berahino
