Well that was quite the season, eh? After Spurs many of us had bought a ticket to see the fat lady sing, but she held back. That beautiful lady held back!
There was a busy studio to help record a jam packed show this week as we have our end of season inquest. Joining myself and Gareth Barker were Craig Clark and Chris Weatherspoon from this very site, and Pete Sixsmith from over at Salut! Sunderland.
We discussed the Swansea game in some detail but generally allowed the conversation to take its own course of action and evolve into a typical end of season discussion. Who was good? Who was bad? Who do we need to sign? All the questions you would expect are right there for us all to mull over.
Bet you can't wait!
The general debate leads towards who should be retained next season and who, well, shouldn't be. Does Connor Wickham suddenly become the focal point of our side? Does Seb Larsson's spike in form mean he's changed his standing with Sunderland fans?
