Sunderland are continuing to keep the good feeling going and have significantly reduced the price of season tickets for next season.
With much of the moaning over the cost of them being used as an excuse/valid reason* (*delete as appropriate) for missing out on tickets to the Capital One cup final this weekend, it's great to see that Sunderland are making every effort to make football more affordable.
Fans will have up until 5pm on April 11th to take advantage of the reduced prices, which means Under-16's can see the lads for just £69 for the entire 2014-15 season, while Adults could pay as little as £370.
The prices work out at less than £20 for adults and less than £4 for juniors, should we remain in the Premier League anyway. Those prices dropping further if we fall into the Championship next season, what with more games to play.
Margaret Byrne told the club's official website of the reductions;
Keeping football at the Stadium of Light affordable is something that we are fully committed to. By reducing prices for next season we hope that our existing season card holders will be able to continue to support the team in such huge numbers. We also hope to encourage more fans to join us for the 2014-15 season.
