Gus Poyet made one change to the Sunderland side for the visit of seemingly unstoppable Chelsea, with Jack Rodwell coming into the side for the unlucky Jordi Gomez to, presumably, provide some extra midfield legs.

Ricky Alvarez, meanwhile, was named on the bench following a spell out injured.

Sunderland (4-3-3): Costel Pantilimon, Santiago Vergini, John O'Shea (c), Wes Brown, Anthony Reveillere, Lee Cattermole, Seb Larsson, Jack Rodwell, Adam Johnson, Connor Wickham, Steven Fletcher.

Subs: Vito Mannone, Liam Bridcutt, Jordi Gomez, Jozy Altidore, Ricky Alvarez, Sebastian Coates, Will Buckley.

Jose Mourinho understandably named un unchanged Chelsea side, with the League leaders pretty much battering everyone in sight right now. Must be nice.

Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Thibaut Courtois; Branislav Ivanovic, Gary Cahill, John Terry (c), Cesar Azpilicueta; Nemanja Matic, Cesc Fabregas; Willian, Oscar, Eden Hazard; Diego Costa.

Subs: Petr Cech, Filipe Luis, Kurt Zouma, Didier Drogba, John Obi Mikel, Andre Schurrle, Loic Remy. #safc
