Sunderland's Under-21 development squad will meet Spaniards Villarreal and Scots Celtic in the Premier League International Cup at the Stadium of Light in December, with season card holders able to attend free of charge.

The youngsters take on Villarreal on December 10 at 7pm, while Celtic will visit Wearside eight days later on December 18 with kick-off also taking place at 7pm.

The Black Cats were drawn alongside Villarreal, Celtic and Everton in Group D of the prestigious tournament, which includes some elite development teams from England and across Europe.

Season card holders can enjoy the game for nothing on production of their valid 2014-15 season card, while general admission is priced at £3 for adults and £1 for those aged under-16 and over-65.

There will be no advance sale of tickets and entry for both games will be through turnstiles 1-8 and 17-24 in the West Stand on the evening of each fixture, which will open at 6pm for both matches.

English clubs involved are Sunderland, West Ham United, Chelsea, Everton, Fulham, Leicester City, Manchester City and Norwich City.

Meanwhile, the international sides participating are Athletic Bilbao, Benfica, Borussia Monchengladbach, Celtic, Schalke, Porto, PSV and Villarreal.

Clubs play each team in their group once and every single match will be played in England.

Upon completion of the group stages, the top two from each group will advance to the quarter-finals.
