UPDATE: Agent Talks-Up Winger Sunderland Switch

Could a deal for Bruma be on the cards after all?

Galatasaray winger Bruma may well be up from grabs this January, and his agent insists the Premier League could be his likely destination.

Marco Kirdemir has been very vocal in the press, which tends to lead you to believe a deal is likely to happen somewhere, and Sunderland is a club that has now been specifically mentioned as one with a long-standing interest. He said:

Sunderland wanted to loan Bruma in January. This summer Everton and Monaco wanted Bruma on loan, they had been keeping tabs on him for a while. I can see Bruma playing in the Premier League in the future.

Sunderland's previous interest was fairly well-known in January. In fact, a loan deal had been agreed between the two clubs with documentation leaked (LINK) only for it to fall apart due to a freak serious knee injury at the last moment.

Perhaps unusually for Sunderland, we still have the same manager, so it's certainly worth keeping an eye on this one to see if/how it develops.
