Foo Fighters On Sale Friday

Rock megastars Foo Fighters will be visiting the Sunderland Stadium of Light next May - here's how you can get hold of those prized tickets!

Sunderland’s Stadium of Light is set to host rock legends Foo Fighters next May and general sale of tickets begins at 10am on Friday morning (November 21).

The Grammy Award-winning band will begin the UK leg of their European tour in the north-east on May 25, 2015, in what will be one of only four UK venues to welcome the mega-group.

The first confirmed summer show at the Stadium of Light is set to take place on the late-May Bank Holiday Monday in what promises to be a memorable event.

The Foo Fighters’ 20th anniversary tour announcement coincided with the release of the band’s latest critically-acclaimed album, Sonic Highways.


Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 21 November from the Stadium of Light and various ticketing agents.

Stadium of Light sales information:

The Stadium of Light box office will offer General Admission tickets only, priced at £55. All credit/debit card sales are subject to a booking fee per ticket, but there is no booking fee for cash sales. Tickets cannot be purchased from Sunderland AFC by telephone or online; tickets are available from the stadium’s box office to in-person purchasers only.

Ticket agents:

General admission tickets (standing/Tier 1 unreserved seating) are priced at £55. Tier 2 reserved seats at £67.50 and Tier 3 reserved seats (Premier Concourse, no access to main stadium bowl) £55. All tickets are subject to a booking fee.

Wheelchair and special needs patrons:

Tickets for wheelchair and special needs patrons are available by telephone from See Tickets on the number 0871 230 3453.

Further information:

Young people aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult aged over 18. No unaccompanied youngsters aged 14 or under will be permitted entry to the venue on the day of the show.

There is a ticket limit of FOUR per purchaser in place throughout all sales avenues.
