Casting our minds back to the weekend of the Norwich game, which ended is a disappointing draw, and we find out team didn't have the greatest of times. However Craig Clark did manage a rare win, picking up a £13 profit on Spanish Football. Onto this week's picks:
David Boyle
Back to Premier League action following a couple of productive outings in the cups brings with it a stark reminder of Sunderland's dire situation. Both sides lost in their last league fixture, with Fulham shipping six goals away at Hull and Sunderland somehow losing to a lackluster Aston Villa. Call it misguided optimism from Tuesday night's victory if you want but I really fancy Sunderland to win this one and for both teams to score to bolster the odds even further.
Elsewhere, Sam Allardyce's hapless West Ham travel to Cardiff and in a bid to get back into the mix of this competition, I'm going to go in fairly big considering the home side are 11/10 to take all three points.
- Sunderland to win and both teams to score - 11/2 - £5.54 Stake
- Cardiff to beat West Ham - 11/10 - £25 Stake
Simon Walsh
Been a few weeks since we done this. Hopefully that can allow me to mentally recover from a series of losses and turn things around with a title surge.
Our record against the teams around us isn't too great, which his why I'm going to avoid a results based selection. I'm going to run with Fabio Borini to be an any time scorer in the game at a tasty 5/2.
Elsewhere I'm putting a few quid on Wigan, Cardiff and Nottingham Forest all to win.
- Fabio Borini to score at any time - 7/2 - £5 Stake
- Wigan, Cardiff and Nottingham Forest all to win - 9/1 - £5 Stake
Luke Bowley
Bit of a hard one to call this weekend. Fulham are totally rubbish, but whenever Sunderland play teams that are totally rubbish, they conspire to be somehow worse, presumable because Sunderland are also pretty rubbish. Despite Sunderland being pretty rubbish, Fabio Borini is quite good, presumably because he's a Liverpool player, and so, like Simon, I'll go for him to grab a goal.
Elsewhere I'm going for Burnley to go and beat Yeovil in the Championship.
- Fabio Borini to score at any time - 7/2 - £3 stake
- Burnley to beat Yeovil - 20/19 - £10 stake
