David Moberg-Karlsson has joined Scottish side Kilmarnock on loan for the remainder of the season.

The Swede arrived in the summer amid plenty hype from IFK Gotenberg, and impressed in the preseason, particularly with a goal in the Barclays Asia Trophy.

Since then though his involvement has been limited, with the 19-year old only seeing one start, in the League Cup against MK Dons.

Moberg-Karlsson has been in good form for the Under-21 side, and is likely to see his development further aided in Scotland with significant playing time -- something he was unlikely to get on Wearside.

There's still a lot of hope that he'll come through and be able to return to the club this summer a more developed player, rather than the "rough diamond" he is at the moment.
