Alfred N'Diaye spent the first half of this season on loan at Turkish side Esksehirspor, despite a successful time with the Super Lig club his loan spell there has ended due to rumoured contractual issues.
Now the popular French midfielder has headed out on loan again, this time to La Liga side Real Betis, who he has joined on loan for the rest of the season with an option to purchase. After passing a medical yesterday, he was unveiled as a Betis player earlier today.
Speaking to the Spanish club's official website, N'Diaye explained why he made the move to Spain;
Before coming here, I knew that this was a great club and yesterday at the clinic where I had the medical, I was impressed with the amount of fans that turned up. Everyone gave me lots of encouragement.
I am already looking forward to working with my new colleagues.
I came because, although the sporting situation is delicate, Real Betis is a top flight club and I want to help them remain there when the season ends.
Although Real Betis finished 7th last season, they are currently last in the La Liga table and 10 points away from safety.
