Sunderland To face Non-League Kiddy In Cup

Sunderland's fourth round FA Cup opposition has been decided.

Sunderland will welcome non-League Kidderminster Harriers to the Stadium of Light this month after the Conference side came through a breathless third round tie at Peterborough.

Posh were strong favourites to progress and visit Wearside for a second time this season, but a Joe Lolley goal finally settled a frantic second half at London Road with Harriers running out 3-2 winners.

Nothing should really change for Sunderland, of course. You suspect that either way it was seen as a chance to rotate and freshen the side a little and perhaps give some fringe players an opportunity to stake a claim.

It would also look like a good opportunity to bed in any new signings too, especially if they are coming over from South America as it appears a couple might.

So, all-in-all, congratulations to Kiddy. Lets make sure we shift a few home tickets and be sure to give them a good welcome.
