Sunderland's short-lived pursuit of Granada fullback Guilherme Siqueira looks like he is staying at the Spanish side for the foreseeable future.
Reports in Spain claim that he won't be going to us, Liverpool, Everton, Real Madrid or anywhere else;
Barring a miracle, the player will have to stay in Granada CF. The team he is contracted with until June 30, 2017.
Real Madrid are not going to go because they will continue Fabio Coentrao.
It was thought earlier today that with Madrid sticking with Coentrao and Liverpool having plenty of options at left back there was an outside chance of the Brazilian coming to Sunderland. It seems though our hopes will lie in Andrea Dossena for the time being though as he looks to complete a move from Napoli.
The 27-year old left back is known to Roberto De Fanti and Valentino Angeloni from his time in Italy with Udinese, however no move is forthcoming for his services.
