Rumours are flying this morning that Crystal Palace are hoping to sign Sebastian Larsson. With their local newspaper The Croydon Advertiser saying;
As I leave the office, rumours are surfacing that Palace have made a £4.5m bid for Sunderland midfielder Seb Larsson.
With Scott Wilson of the Northern Echo also reporting that Palace are interested in the Swedish international.
A transfer for Larsson would be a surprise considering he's been a regular starter in central midfield for Paolo Di Canio but the rumoured £4.5m transfer fee for a player out of contract in the summer would be hard to turn down and I don't think there would be many fans throwing their arms up and complaining to everyone within earshot should this transfer go through.
It would leave the side short in midfield however, even with the recent signing of Ki, and would need the club to further invest in a new central midfielder.
