Wise Men Say Podcast Goes Live!

The podcast hits the pub and invites you to get involved!

Michael Regan

After weeks of putting people through listening to Gareth and I harp on all things Sunderland, we've finally set a date for the much spoke about live podcast, meaning you can come and get involved.

Rather than a typical pies 'n peas type thing, we decided to test the water and try a new approach regarding people getting together to have a bit listen to ex pros, journalists and smart arses (Gareth and I ) gas on. Let's be honest, if we didn't have anyone decent to join us we'd likely end up sitting in an empty room turning the event into a typical random drinking session. A one that implied we have no mates. No comment. I jest of course, we have each other as mates.

Anyhoo, we're delighted to announce former Sunderland striker Martin Smith has confirmed he'll be in attendance, along with Richard Mason who you all know from the Northern Echo. The idea is that we'll record the first half of the podcast as per norm with people listening in and being able to contribute if they feel strongly about a topic raised for discussion, in a civil and organised manner of course. Think Question Time but an SAFC special. In keeping with this theme, the second part will constructed of an agenda set by the audience. Questions can be submitted throughout the first part with the provided sheets and hand picked to provide the discussion points in which Martin, Richard, Gareth and I will get to.

Has everyone kept up?
