Sunderland's Head Coach, Paolo Di Canio has made just one change from the side that drew 1-1 with Stoke, with suspended Craig Gardner being replaced by Phil Bardsley. Danny Rose starts what may well be his last game in a Sunderland shirt.

There's also a place of the bench for Connor Wickham, who has missed the last few games through injury.

Sunderland (4-4-2): Simon Mignolet; Phil Bardsley, John O'Shea (C), Carlos Cuellar, Danny Rose; Seb Larsson, Alfred N'Diaye, Jack Colback, James McClean; Adam Johnson, Danny Graham

Substitutes: Keiren Westwood, Matt Kilgallon, Kader Mangane, David Vaughan, Liam Marrs, Mikael Mandron, Connor Wickham

In a similar fashion, Mauricio Pochettino has only made one change to the side that lost 1-0 at Tottenham last weekend, with Morgan Schneiderlin returning to the side to replace Guly De Prado.

Southampton (4-2-3-1): Artur Boruc; Nathaniel Clyne, Jos Hooiveld, Jose Fonte, Luke Shaw; Morgan Schneiderlin, Jack Cork; Steven Davies, Adam Lallana (C), Jay Rodriguez; Rickie Lambert;

Substitutes: Kelvin Davis, Maya Yoshida, Vegard Forren, James Ward-Prowse, Steve De Ridder, Jason Puncheon, Emmanuel Mayuka
