Another week another series of winning bets for Luke as he further extends his lead at the top of the table having backed Sessegnon to score anytime against Everton and an Athletico Madrid victory, nicely played young man. Elsewhere Craig managed a tidy return with his Bayern Munich/Napoli double and believe it or not even head-honcho Simon Walsh managed to put some positive numbers onto the board this week!

We've just the Aston Villa vs Sunderland game to look over this week given the Monday night slot we've been allocated but there is still plenty to play for!

Simon Walsh

A winner last week at last in which I told you all we'd beat Everton by a non-specific score. Go me! Anyway, on to some picks for tonight's game against Villa. In this game I'm expecting us to get something if not a win, so that market looks too difficult to predict. I'm more confident it will be low-scoring so I'm going to lump on Under 2.5 goals. 66% of our games with Villa have seen this ring true...

  • Aston Villa Vs Sunderland Under 2.5 Goals - 4/5 - £20 Stake

Craig Clark

Since Di Canio took over, Sessegnon has been an absolute revelation. He's been the attacking inspiration behind the consecutive victories over the Mags and Everton. With Villa being far from convincing at the back, I've no doubt we'll be looking for Sess to exploit any weakness and I'm hoping another goal will put us on route to a crucial 3 points.

  • Sessegnon to score anytime, Sunderland to win - 5/1 - £5 stake

David Boyle

I'm going to keep things nice and simple this week and back a Sunderland win. Lambert has only served to ramp up the pressure on his young side going into this game in my opinion and this can only play into Di Canio's hands. Yes, I know backing Sunderland to win a remarkable three games on the spin is pretty bloody mental as a Sunderland fan but I really think we can just about nick this one, plus the odds are VERY generous in my opinion!

  • Sunderland to beat Aston Villa - 12/5 - £5 Stake

Luke Bowley

Sunderland look to continue their excellent form under Di Canio tonight, and facing an Aston Villa side who've been leaking goals all season, you'd certainly fancy them to do that. However, Villa will also post a real attacking threat, particularly through Christian Benteke. Sunderland's defence has often struggled with strong, powerful striker this season, and he's backed up a very talented, creative midfield. Villa should trouble Sunderland's defence more than Everton and Newcastle, so I'm going for both teams to score in this one.

  • Aston Villa Vs Sunderland: Both teams to score - 4/5 - £10

Karl Jones

Since Paolo Di Canio has entered Sunderland, a group of players who seemed limp and lacklustre have straightened themselves up, and taken control of situation that had been their own doing to some extent. There is energy, confidence and a lot more detail being passed onto them from the sidelines - as a result I quite fancy Sunderland to extend their winning run to three games.

  • Sunderland to beat Aston Villa - 12/5 - £20 stake
