Sunderland Head Coach Paolo Di Canio has made just one enforced change from the side that demolished Newcastle last week. The injured Phil Bardsley is replaced by Jack Colback, with the ginger maestro likely filling in at right-back, the position where he finished the game last week. This means there's no place in the starting XI for last weeks goalscorer David Vaughan, or Kader Mangane.
Elsewhere there's a first subsitute appearance for youngster Liam Marrs, who joins Mandron and Laidler on an inexperienced subs bench.
Sunderland (4-4-2): Simon Mignolet; Jack Colback, John O'Shea (C), Carlos Cuellar, Danny Rose; Adam Johnson, Alfred N'Diaye, Seb Larsson, James McClean; Stephane Sessegnon, Danny Graham
Substitutes: Keiren Westwood, Matt Kilgallon, Kader Mangane, David Vaughan, Liam Marrs, Mikael Mandron, Jordan Laidler
Meanwhile Everton boss David Moyes has made two changes from the side that drew 0-0 with Arsenal in mid-week. Phil Jagielka has picked up an injury, so 2010 World Cup final ankle-kicker Johnny Heitinga replaces him, while Leon Osman is back from an injury that ruled him out in mid-week, replacing youngster Ross Barkley.
