Might as well start at the beginning with Stephane Sessegnon's superb goal to start off today's absolute rout. Picking the ball up and driving at the heart of the enemy area, the Beninese international evaded the attention of the Jonas Gutierrez and the world's second greasiest hair cut to rifle a low shot beyond a helpless Tim Krul...
Next was the turn of Adam Johnson. Newcastle had come back into things and had a goal dubiously ruled offside (bovved, etc), but the much maligned winger stole a place in Sunderland hearts with a goal to savour in front of the Leazes End.
Quite similar to Sessegnon's goal actually in that he drove in-field but unlike the first goal, he shot across the 'keeper and into the far corner to put the game pretty much out of sight...
The the icing on what was already a quite delicious cake. Diddy David Vaughan, on as a second half substitute to shore things up a bit said to himself "sod this" and unleashed an absolute thunderbolt from the edge of the area past a helpless Rob Elliot who could only stand and admire it's sheer beauty...
And that my friends, was that. Savour these moments. Or if you're out on the piss as I fully expect you are, come take a look in the morning. And the afternoon. And the evening. And maybe the day after that too.
Oh, and remember to enjoy it...
