Stoke City Clash Moved For TV

Sunderland's vital home clash with Stoke City has been moved for the Sky Sports cameras.

Sunderland's vital home game against Stoke City has been moved to be played in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

Having recently moved a relegation clash with Aston Villa to a Monday night, the broadcasters have now opted to pick up the home game with Stoke City too and moved it to the Bank Holiday Monday, May 6th with an 8pm kick off time.

The game is a vital one for both sides as Sunderland look to move themselves away from the relegation zone, while the visitors will be looking to do it themselves too after descending into free-fall since the new year, and this game could be incredibly decisive in the run-in.

The move also means now that only one Sunderland game remaining this season will be played at 3pm on a Saturday, giving the nostalgics something to crow about, while the exiles can be pleased that now at least three of the final 6 games will be televised.
