Sunderland eyes will be on Stockholm next week as Ireland take on Sweden with a host of Sunderland players set to feature.
Sebastian Larsson has been called up for the games against Ireland on March 22nd in Stockholm is expected to be given a starting role by Erik Hamren on his more natural right hand side of midfield as opposed to the central midfield position where he's featured prominently for us.
Former Sunderland midfielder Tobias Hysen is also called upon by Hamren.
Meanwhile Giovanni Trapattoni has called upon Sunderland trio John O'Shea, Keiren Westwood and James McClean for the game. O'Shea looks likely to start the game while Westwood has a better than average chance of starting while McClean - currently recovering from illness - might be forced to watch from the bench.
Trap has named a large squad for a pair of World Cup qualifiers as they also take on Austria a few days later. The manager is set to shorten the squad later this week once the fitness of his players, likely including McClean, is assessed.
