These podcasts tend to run fluently when we have a agame to discuss and a game to preview. The worry this week was that we're all 'analysed out' after the Man City win, and there was certainly some truth in that. It felt like I revisited the subject of whether or not we would be keeping the same side once or thrice - respinning questions to try and squeeze out new content was a part of my journalism training fortunately. I think we pulled it off, just.
Mark Holmes who I'm sure you all know from TeamTalk helped us with trying to second guess what Stoke will try and do at the weekend. An all too familiar negative thought process was evident from his end in that conversation.
In the studio with myself and Gareth Barker was your/our very own Captain Fishpaste (to give him the nicest version of his name going around Twitter at present).
Gary Foster from the Shields Gazette was back for his third time also, enjoy a difference of opinion from those two regarding Adam Johnson.
And as previously mentioned, we discuss the transfer policy at present, or rather put to bed the ridiculous way in which the media have spun it and how many Sunderland fans have bought it as a result. Download, listen etc etc
