Some people are blooming quick aren't they? It hasn't taken long for the highlights and goals to emerge from today's game with FC Groningen where you can see some lacklustre defending and a superb goal from Ryan Noble in the dying seconds of the game.
It's particularly worth watching for the Noble goal though. The way he picks the ball up deep and ghosts between defenders before lashing it high into the net reminds me very much of Michael Owen's goal as a young lad for England against Argentina. If this can be anything like the platform it was for him, Noble can be everything we've ever hoped he could be.
