Sunderland's Kieren Westwood, John O'Shea and James McClean all made it into the final Ireland squad for Euro 2012 this summer after Giovanni Trapattoni submitted the final squad list this morning.
There had been doubts over the fitness of O'Shea, who pulled up injured in our final league game of the season against Manchester United, but has obviously done enough to prove his fitness to the manager ahead of the tournament.
All three are expected to get a run out in tonight's low-key friendly between Ireland and a Tuscany XI at Pistoia, with Westwood confirmed as starting the game.
During the tournament O'Shea will wear his usual No.4 shirt, Westwood has been handed the No.16 jersey, while McClean will, as he did against Bosnia last weekend, wear No.22 in Poland and Ukraine.
Former Sunderland defender Paul McShane is also a late call up to the squad, replacing the injured Kevin Foley. Not wanting to tempt fate, but given we've endured his performances in red and white, you'd hope he isn't even more unlucky in the No.13 shirt!
