Sunderland's preseason friendly lineup is starting to take further shape, with the club announcing another game after yesterday's confirmation of a game with Leicester City.
The club have announced a game with Hartlepool United on Friday 27th July with a 7:30pm kick off at Victoria Park, just five days after the club play their final game in Korea's Peace Cup.
The club have forged good links with Hartlepool over the years, regularly taking them on in preseason contests. Most recently for 'Pools legend Ritchie Humphreys testimonial game last year. Not only that, but Ryan Noble had a loan spell there this season, and it's rumoured the side are interested in taking on the recently released Jordan Cook.
Hartlepool boss Neale Cooper had this to say on the game;
We're delighted that Martin O'Neill will be bringing his team to The Vic and we're really looking forward to what should be a very enjoyable evening.
Tickets for the game will go on sale soon, priced at £10 for Adults and £5 for everyone else.
