Hurrah! It's finally Friday, and before you all go relax and enjoy yourself, do us the honour of checking out the Roker Roundup. Our daily roundup of all the SAFC news and rumours that have been coming out today.

Today is, and always will be known as April the 27th, and on this day in SAFC history you'll find that Sam Ellison was born. Sam played as an outside right for the club between 1946 and 1947.
