It seems like the last one only just came out but it's once again time for another issue of the finest Sunderland AFC fanzine, A Love Supreme. The 217th if you can quite believe it, and it's a right rip-roaring Christmas special!
We've got our own column in there, and also inside you'll find a great interview with Dicky Ord, a review of a year under Martin O'Neill, Lee Cattermole goes on trial and much more. In fact, we've blagged a little look at that O'Neill article right here;
That was until New Years Day. O'Neill became some sort of Santa Claus/Jesus Christ figure, a Santa Jesus, if you will, as we triumphed over Manchester City's millions thanks to another late, late goal, this time from Ji Dong-Won. Or in the words of Martin Tyler: "JIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII." It was a remarkable moment, and perhaps O'Neill's finest so far. Meanwhile, an emphatic 4-0 victory down at Wigan meant O'Neill had picked up a very impressive 13 points from 18 in first six games, a record which saw us propelled up the table and our new hero pick up the December Premier League manager of the month award.
Inside you'll also find a cracking bit called Breaking Bard, Carlos Cuellar playing for Spain, The 1985 League Cup Semi against Chelsea and much more.
You can pick your copy up from outside the ground for only £2.50 from any of the fine looking sellers patrolling the streets of Sunderland, or head down to your local newsagents where you can get one. If you just want it delivered to your door with no fuss, subscribe to it! You can do that online HERE and get yourself a host of goodies in the process.
You'd be a fool to miss out, so grab SAFC's No.1 Fanzine today.
