FA Cup Third Round Draws Sunderland With Bolton Wanderers

Following today's second round clash between Milton Keynes Dons and AFC Wimbledon, the draw for the third round of the FA Cup has been made, pairing Sunderland with Bolton Wanderers.

Following the conclusion of today's second round clash between our own Capital One Cup opponents Milton Keynes Dons and their adversaries AFC Wimbledon, the draw for the third round has been made.

Sunderland were ball number 37 in the pot - one of the years which we won the trophy if you like omens and all that - and have been paired with Bolton Wanderers with the game taking place at Reebok Stadium in January.

It would be the 146th clash with the Lillywhites following their recent relegation to the Championship. The two sides have also bet eight times in the FA Cup, with us coming out the victors on five occasions.

It's by no means a game which should be too tough, but a comfortable level of challenge. Certainly this represents a good chance for us to get into the fourth round.
