Sunderland Line Up More German Pre-Season Friendlies

Yet more pre-season details are emerging from other clubs, with SAFC seemingly unwilling to actually tell us who they are playing, at least someone is leaking the news.

The latest is Borussia Monchengladbach, another Bundesliga side. The Foals just avoided the drop from Bundesliga 1 this season, but do have some recognisable names in the squad, notably former Spurs defender Paul Stalteri and Arsenal youngster Havard Nordtveit, not to mention one time Sunderland target and USA international Michael Bradley could still be with the club when we travel to the originally titles 'Borussia-Park'.

The game takes place on 23rd July.

Another German side, Arminia Bielefeld, have also announce we will play them on 17th July. Bielefeld should provide a somewhat easier test than Hannover and Monchengladbach having been relegated from Bundesliga 2 this season after finishing in 18th place.

The game with Arminia Bielefeld takes place on July 17th.
