Sunderland Away Kit 2011/12 Revealed

Howdy there, the new Sunderland Away Kit for 2011/12 has been revealed this morning, and I'm pretty impressed, good job done there Umbro.

So it might not be as 'tailored' or 'unique' as some would have liked, and it may instantly scream to people 'Birmingham City' but all in all I think it's a very smart kit.

Here you can see some pics, as modelled by Titus Bramble, Michael Turner and newly crowned Player Of The Season, Phil Bardsley.

I think it may have looked better with blue shorts, but thats really being ultra-pernickety. The top is lovely.

Here's how it will look in stores, or on you if you're flat.

And as you can see, the back is not particularly intrusive, which was the criticism labelled by many towards the new home kit.

The simpleness I think is very effective, and you can order one direct from the SAFC shop right now, for delivery on July 1st here. I think I will be ordering, and for me it's certainly an improvement on the cream and burgundy effort we have at the moment.

What are your thoughts on our new look?
