Roker Riches - SAFC v Blackburn Rovers (H) Betting Preview

Another loss for the lads, and another loss for us here at Roker Riches. I need to start betting with the head over heart if I ever want to win big. Is that gonna happen? Am I going to bet against the lads? Like sh*te am I!!

So, we squandered opportunities against Blackpool on the pitch, I did off it. All three bets I picked for Blackpool would have been winners at prices of 11/4, 9/1 and 5/1... this betting malarkey is a mugs game I tell thee, but I'm not deterred.

First up from the SAFC side of things, I don't see this being a high scoring or particularly thrilling encounter, so a 1-0 win for the lads at 11/2 looks a bit of alright. I'll chuck £2 down on that.

Second of all, I fancy Titus to make an impact in his first start back in the team, and something in my waters tells me he's gonna bundle one home from a yard out in a goalmouth scramble. He tends to get 1 or 2 goals a season anyway, so it's about time he hit one. 16/1 anytime? Why the hell not, here's a quid.

And last of all, not a great gamble, but to be honest, the odds makers aren't giving us much to work with. The final £2 I have will go on a bit of a goofy bet. Now read this carefully; SAFC score first AND it is after the 31st minute at 21/10. I know, bit of a strange one, but decent nonetheless.

The Bets:

SAFC win 1-0 @11/2 - £2

Titus Bramble to score at any time @ 16/1 - £1

SAFC score the first goal AND it's after the 31st minute @21/10 - £2

Season Total: -£11.80

From the Blackburn side, if you're so inclined, and lets face it, my recent form suggests you should follow these more than the SAFC bets!..

**** Blackburn to win 1-0 @ 9/1

*** David Dunn first goal scorer @14/1

** Blackburn to win +1 goal handicap @5/6

As ever, I'm clearly not professional, nor know what the hell I'm talking about. I'm just an average punter at the match, sticking bets on for beer money. Take any advice here with a pinch of salt.

Enjoy the game, and may we all be winners this week!
