"If I was a rich man, tra-la-la-la-la-la, oh I’d have all the money in the world, if I’d read Roker Richessss"... those are the original lyrics from that song from Fiddler On The Roof before it was changed at the last minute. You would have been rich, if you’d followed our advice last week.
Bent or Welbeck for first goal came in nicely at 11/5. Ok, so the others lost and I didn’t put any actual money on it, but still, look what you could have won!
Let’s see if this is the start of a glorious win streak...
I’m not too confident heading to Old Trafford without Captain Catts, however, I wasn’t all that confident headed to Chelsea, and look what happened there.
I think it’s about time Gyan started hitting the net again, and you can find him bizarrely priced up at 10/1 to get the first at Hills. For some reason they think Bebe, Obertan & the injured Scholes all more likely to get one before Baby Jet. I’ll have some of that value, and a virtual £1 goes on.
On a bit of a goof, I’m looking to the any time scorer/win markets, and plumping for a tasty 25/1 shot. We expect flying wide man Elmohamady to be starting, and all it takes is a flukey cross, or he decides to get his shooting boots on, not to mention he’s a huge threat in the air. For him to score at any point in the game, and SAFC win, I’ll take 25/1. Here’s a pound Mr Betting Shop Man!
And lastly, I don’t think this can be ignored. SAFC at 11/1 for the win. Last time we were anywhere near as high as that we battered Chelsea. Let’s not forget too, while results haven’t gone our way at Old Trafford apart from the odd draw, it’s been a while since we played awfully there. Final £3 on that.
So... The Bets:
Asamoah Gyan to score the first goal @ 10/1 - £1
Elmohamady anytime goalscorer/SAFC win double @25/1 - £1
SAFC win @ 11/1 - £3
Season tally: -£1.80
From the Man United side, and let’s face it, the more likely side, I like these...
**** Man Utd Win 1st half/2nd half @ 11/8
*** Park Ji-Sung any time scorer @ 4/1
** Man United to score a penalty @ 3/1
As per usual, they’re getting none of my money, but the option is there.
And as I always say, gamble responsibly. I know I’m awesome, but I am in no way a gambling professional, nor really know what I’m doing, so all advice must be taken with a pinch of salt.
Have a wonderful Christmas everybody, Keep The Faith.
