Pathetic. Get over yourselves. Daft. Naive. How rude !?!. And all because one holds an opinion contrary to yours. However, I do not intend to enter into a battle of wits with an unarmed man (I assume you are a man and I'm not being sexist here), but I would like to clarify the odd point, if that's ok with you, of course?

Borini. 14m accepted by LFC, Borini informed but embarks on trip to USA with LFC with out replying to SAFC, leaving Poyet, in his words, surprised and unable to figure out what is happening. This shows a shocking lack of respect for SAFC and Poyet in particular, who obviously holds the player in very high regard. On his return to the UK, Borini has continued to keep SAFC dangling. Whilst I agree that he is entitled to keep his options open, both professionally and financially, he should have made it clear from the outset that he would be unlikely to join SAFC and we could have moved on to other targets instead of becoming embroiled in this ridiculous cat and mouse game. It may well be that Borini does eventually join us, but I would suggest a lot of fence-rebuilding judging by the snippets of conversation I picked up around the ground and bars, etc, on Saturday. A vast number of fans appear disappointed with his conduct. By the way, I believe that had Borini played for us against Man U we would have won comfortably. Their defence would have been unable to cope with his drive, work-rate, vision, and off and on-the ball running. Unfortunately, it was not to be. Should he choose to stay at LFC and fight his place on the sub's bench, then I wish him every success.

This type of situation happens every year you state. When? I have followed SAFC for many, many years and cannot remember this ever happening before unless delayed by red-tape over documentation/international clearance beyond the control of the player. I am sure you can furnish a number of examples, though, to bolster your opinion and help us "get over ourselves". Facts, lad, I deal only in facts (apologies to Dickens - Hard Times, look it up) .

No where in my text did I claim Poyet/Congerton useless. Your spin. I merely alluded to a flaw in transfer dealings. A flaw which with Poyet obviously agrees, given that he has stated he is still 3-4 positions light two games into the season, including the striker role. It is also now claimed by Wickham's father that the reason Conor has not put pen to paper is because no new contract has been offered. Problem?

I obviously offended your fragile sensibilities by offering an opinion contrary to yours and I apologise. However, as it Is obvious that you fail to grasp the subtle nuances of the English language in relation to context and allusion, in order to eschew ambiguity in the future, I will endeavour to keep the text simple and more explicit, allowing you to better understand from whence I come. This may also save any deliberate misinterpretation on your part and relieve you of the need to spin words to strengthen your arguement. By the way, when I use the word text, it is in the pre-mobile phone context. Just thought I'd better explain - nah, surely not.

Well, I am fatigued (tired) now, so I will close (stop writing) and seek a nana-nap (short sleep usually taken in the afternoons). So to sleep, perchance dream of future Sunderland glories (apologies to the noble Bard (Shakespeare).

Have a good day.
