Mighty Impressive Stuff in Manc

Reborn Sunderland playing football like champions at last... The fat lady still ain't singing so more work to be done.

Not just a result in Manchester - and against most people's expectations, me too, I thought you'd take a point - but a run of consistent excellence. 7 points from 9 against a host of top teams and make no mistake, Man U are a top team - what would Sunderland give to be that high up the table? (Rhetorical - just exactly these same performances sustained over a season - it's actually good enough to get Sunderland into Europe). And you may scoff. I've found this of Sunderlanders... Why shouldn't Sunderland aim for Europe? Absolutely no reason why not.

Back to reality. It still ain't over. Do not be making the simple mistake of thinking one more win or a point will do the job. Set the target at all SIX points and play to 41 in total, which won't look too shabby given what's gone on and it'll let you finish respectably high up the table. Prize money worth taking...

You've still got two tough games ahead - maybe tougher than Man U. Those teams know it ain't over yet, although Swansea may be thinking they've done enough. Play to the final whislte on the last day, NOT just survival.

Van Gaal for United... Sunderland made it happen.

Congratulaions to The Lads and Gus (is he a Lad? Probably).

Are you making a FanPost? Well that's fantastic, just keep it tasteful.
