The biggest problem

"The season is not over and the biggest problem is complacency and people taking their foot off of the pedal."

Tony Pulis.

There you go. The biggest problem is people thinking they've done enough and doing fuck all else. I reckoned Tony Pulis would keep Palace up when he was appointed (very shrewd move in my opinion). I still think he will, but it's tight.

Magath appears to have got a result out of Fulham against all odds. If he can keep 'em focussed and roll over into another 'result' he might actually build some momentum. I still think it unlikely, but I won't underestimate the guy - it's possible.

So, Poyet has got to get into Sunderlands' heads and make it crystal clear that it ain't over yet and anything less than 40 points just IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I could pick another number, but this is the sort of complacency Pulis is on about. 40 points has long been recognized as Premiership safety level. That's the MINIMUM Sunderland must target.
