Only a couple of bets placed for last weekend's round of fixtures, which was good for me, as I leaped to the top of leaderboard by going for Athletic Bilbao to beat Real Betis. Onto this weeks Cup Final bets:

Unsurprisingly Sunderland are a staggering 10/1 at the time of writing to win Sunday's Cup Final in the 90 minutes, odds which make no secret of where the bookies expect the silverware to end up by the end of the weekend. So far during this cup run Sunderland certainly haven't done things the easy way and I am predicting even further emotional turmoil and am going to back the game to require penalties to decide a winner which is available at 7/1. Hopefully it will be further elation for the Black Cats from twelve yards as opposed to heartbreak.
- Manchester City vs Sunderland to be decided by penalties - 7/1 - £5 Stake

Well then, I'd almost forgotten what it's like not to be top of the pile but a few weeks of recklessness seem to have cost me. Time to get back to winning ways.
This weekend. The head very much says it's a Manchester City win, but with me simply unable to do that the best the heart can offer in counter is a draw after 90-minutes. 1-1 after normal time.
Elsewhere I'm going for Diego Costa to score at any time in a Atletico win during the weekend's Madrid derby.
- Manchester City 1-1 Sunderland after 90 minutes - 11/1 - £2 Stake
- Diego Cost to score any time in Atletico Madrid win - 8/1 - £1 Stake
