Liverpool Match Postponed

Jan Kruger

Sunderland's game with Liverpool has been put on hold while Sunderland continue in the FA Cup.

Sunderland's away game with Liverpool has been postponed on account of the Wearsiders' continued involvement with the FA Cup, Sunderland have today confirmed on their official website.

Since the win over Southampton at the weekend it was always expected.

The match was due to take place in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Monday 10th March, however with FA Cup ties being played across the 8th and 9th of March, the fixture will be rearranged.

It makes for a hectic end of season schedule, during which games against West Bromwich Albion at home and Manchester City away are also to be rearranged on account of cup exploits and bad weather recently.

At the moment there's no idea when the games will be rearranged for, but any announcement will be made as soon as it can by the club.
