VIDEO: The Goals Of Reported Sunderland Striker Target

Anyone can look good on YouTube, but it's fun to look anyway.

If reports from South America are to be believed, then Sunderland may be close to finally ending their on/off pursuit of Argentinian striker Ignacio Scocco.

According to the Internacional forward's father, the player's 'likely' destination is now Wearside.

Scocco hasn't really enjoyed the best of seasons after his summer switch to Brazilian football, but such is life I guess. However, last season he had a simply excellent season with Newell's Old Boys, and we are optimists so that is kind of what we are going to focus on.

If you want to really brish up on the player beyond YouTube, it is also worth noting that Ed Malyon, a genuine expert on Argentinian football, appeared on this week's Wise Men Say Podcast to discuss Scocco and the other South American's Sunderland have been strongly linked with.
