Gustavo Poyet has emerged as a contender for the role of Sunderland manager, after a big shift in the market saw him installed as the new favourite for the position.
It was initially thought that Poyet wasn't too keen on such a move, but obviously something hasn't swayed the punters who have been lumping on him to be our next manager.
The move may be complicated by his current legal wranglings with Brighton over events that led to his dismissal, and equally there are some character concerns about his style.
He has however managed to get things done on the pitch, with Brighton a very attractive side to watch under his tutelage. He also had spells at Leeds and Tottenham which bolster his managerial experience card, albeit he was an assistant at these clubs.
Roberto Di Matteo, the former favourite, has drifted out to 9/1 with SkyBet, while some new and interesting names have entered the fray such as Andrea Stramaccioni.
