West Bromwich Albion Vs Sunderland: Confirmed Lineups

Stu Forster

The teamsheets are in from The Hawthorns as Sunderland travel to West Browmich to take on the Albion. Find out who's in and who's out, here.

Paolo Di Canio has opted for four changes from last week's defeat to Arsenal. Fabio Borini replaces Jozy Altidore up front, the latter having picked up a niggle and barely trained all week. John O'Shea replaces Valentin Roberge who, alongside both Seb Larsson and David Vaughan, has dropped out of the squad completely.

Craig Gardner replaces Vaughan in midfield, while Emanuele Giaccherini takes over from Charis Mavrias on the left wing. There is no room on the bench for either Connor Wickham or Cabral, but showing his face is none other than Lee Cattermole, while Carlos Cuéllar, El-Hadji Ba and Ji Dong-Won all make returns to the squad.

Sunderland (4-4-2): Keiren Westwood; Ondrej Celustka, Mobido Diakité, John O'Shea, Jack Colback; Adam Johnson, Craig Gardner, Ki Sung-Yeung, Emanuele Giaccherini; Steven Fletcher, Fabio Borini

Substitutes: Vito Mannone, Carlos Cuéllar, El-Hadji Ba, Ji Dong-Won, Lee Cattermole, Charis Mavrias, Jozy Altidore

Meanwhile Steve Clarke has opted to plunge Stephane Sessegnon straight into the deep end, handing him his West Brom debut against...err...the club that just sold him two weeks ago. Nicolas Anelka keeps his place, with Victor Anichebe on the bench alongside Claudio Yacob, the latter having been displaced by James Morrison in the centre of midfield.

West Bromwich Albion (4-2-3-1): Boaz Myhill; Billy Jones, Gareth McAuley, Jonas Olsson, Liam Ridgewell; Youssef Mulumbu, James Morrison, Morgan Amalfitano; Stephane Sessegnon, Scott Sinclair, Nicolas Anelka

Substitutes: Lee Camp, Goran Popov, Claudio Yacob, Markus Rosenberg, Victor Anichebe, Diego Lugano, Saido Berahino
