In Pictures: Sunderland Destroy Newcastle 3-0 In Tyne-Wear Derby

We don't often do galleries, but today it seems worth it. Enjoy a little look back through the scenes today as Sunderland comprehensively walloped Newcastle in their own back yard this afternoon.

This really was the stuff dreams are made of. Not just any old win over our most hated enemies but three stunning goals and some incredible scenes today from the soon to be christened Wongadome.

The three points were crucial today in our fight against relegation, but prematch with many of us resigned to a battling performance with likely defeat, what transpired never seemed likely or possible.

The performance was simply something else. It was like watching an entirely different team. A new hunger, a new desire, a new way of thinking. All of a sudden relegation doesn't look as likely, the sky is bluer and optimism has returned.

And of course, we f--king well stuffed the Mags. On every level. In their own back yard. If you want to relive that, and I'm pretty sure you do, then look no further than our gallery above. Just click the left and right buttons to scroll through the images.

There's also plenty of match reaction in our stream, which you can find HERE.
