...then there's the Sunderland way.

Another excellent result. Too few (excellent results) to mention really, but well done nonetheless.

Why on earth would you go round beating the likes of Man City, then Everton - away at that, but be incapable of taking a few measly points off the easier teams to beat. It is unfathomable. Really.

The good news is Sunderland no longer look cut adrift from the rest of the Premiership and even better, Sunderland are now within 2 GD points of having four other other teams just as crap, which should give them a sporting chance of staying up. Another win may bring Sunderland into that group, another two will see Sunderland starting to put some distance (in the right direction, I mean between themselves and other teams.

No time to rest on your laurels, keep up the good work... in the next match and more...

Survival is well within Sunderland's grasp. The target MUST be set higher.
