Suarez, LFC and further shame

I'm sure I'm not the only one that is sick of reading comments by Liverpool supports that continue to try and justify Suarez's actions yesterday be refusing to shake Evra's hand during the game at Old Trafford yesterday.

I liked to think we had come further in this country, that racism would not be tolerated by one of the biggest clubs in the world, and that the offender would be hounded out of the club. But, instead, the manager tries to justify the indefensible, which in turn results in Liverpool fan sites showing frame by frame replays supposedly showing Evra pulling his hand away from Suarez.

The reaction of these fans, and the fact that so many seem to feel this way is what I'm most disappointed and alarmed by. I've seem a large number of comments pulling up the history of Cantona, Ferdinand, Giggs, Rooney and others, trying to say Ferguson should not comment on others players. Racism is far more important than any of the issues raised with these players, and creating an environment that doesn't condemn it wholeheartedly aides the idiotic minority, the same idiotic minority that abused Micah Richards, one of the best players in the league this season, into leaving twitter.

Liverpool, you continue to harm your own standing in football, and debase the legacy of your club. I'm appalled with the behavior of your player, manager and sections of your fans. You are helping the morons, and the sooner Dalglish and others at the club realize this, the better.

Are you making a FanPost? Well that's fantastic, just keep it tasteful.
